Dr. Steven Lowinger

Optometrist

Dr. Steven Lowinger is a board certified optometric physician specializing in primary eye care and contact lenses fitting and management. He has been practicing in South Florida for over 20 years, and is a native Floridian born and raised on Miami Beach. He is the managing Optometrist of Lowinger Eyecare North Miami, Lowinger Eyecare Miami Lakes, and Lowinger Eyecare Mall of the Americas.

Dr. Ray Kim

Dr. Ray TW Kim is a board certified optometric physician. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University in Canada and went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. He completed his internship in ocular diseases at the Eye Center of South Florida where he worked with Dr Dan and Dr Hoffman. He gained further insights into ocular diseases including management of glaucoma and macular generation with Dr Aker at Aker Kasten Eye Center.

There is a reason I have been returning to Dr Lowingers office for over 20 years. Simply put, he is the best in town. My new Medicare insurance referred me to two other optometrists, both terrible experiences. I returned to Dr Lowingers office. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The office is always clean and well equipped, with top notch equipment to diagnose and prescribe. They will provide you with an area to remove your contacts , and a case to hold them while you get your exam. The Dr takes the time to listen , give a thorough exam, and my prescriptions are always accurate. If not, he is always open to adjustments. They do exams for both glasses and contacts. You will leave with a prescription in your hands same day. Wait time is never long with an appointment. These are qualities you expect, but trust me, you don’t always receive. This office excels in service and will provide you with the correct product designed for your eyes. Bonus- They accept medicare provided spending credit cards- Yay for us seniors.
